International Journal of Innovation in Engineering is a scholarly, open-access, double-blind peer-reviewed journal that publishes papers quarterly since 2021 dealing with methods and applications in applied science and engineering management. The journal covers research and developments in the field of applied sciences and technologies as they relate to Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Operation Research, Production and Manufacturing Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Mechanical engineering, Civil engineering, Electrical engineering, Architectural engineering, Computer engineering, Information technology engineering, Aerospace engineering, Industrial management, Genetic engineering, Material engineering, Chemical engineering, and other related Applied Sciences and Engineering fields. However, the main focus of this journal is on Industrial Engineering.

The journal permits and encourages authors to deposit all versions of their papers (Preprint, Author's Accepted Manuscript, Published article (Version of Record) in a personal website, institutional or subject repository.

No special permission is required to reuse all or part of an article published by IJIE, including figures and tables. For articles published under an open-access Creative Commons CC BY license, any part of the article may be reused without permission, provided that the original article is clearly cited. Reuse of an article does not imply endorsement by the authors or IJIE.

Authors retain the copyright of their papers without restrictions.

Open Access— free for readers, with article processing charges (APC) paid by authors or their institutions.

It is noteworthy that the journal uses Ithenticate (http://www.ithenticate.com/). A text similarity score below 25% is acceptable by the journal.

The journal's objective is to speed up the decision process without compromising on quality. The journal has a double-blind peer review, and the peer reviewers may be editorial board members or external reviewers. The selection of peer reviewers depends on their availability and the subject of the manuscript. One step before the reviewing process, the journal editors use the PLAGIARISM software, Ithenticate (http://www.ithenticate.com/).

The review time for each round is about 4 to 6 weeks; the acceptance time is usually about 12 to 15 weeks, and the review process is done by at least two reviewers.

The following illustrates the results of reviewing:

The manuscript will be accepted if all peer reviewers recommend the manuscript be accepted.
The manuscript will be rejected if more than half of the peer reviewers recommend the manuscript be rejected.
In all other cases, the reviewers' comments will be sent back to the submitting author to revise the manuscript.

It is worth mentioning that if an article needs significant revision, it is rejected, and we suggest the authors resubmit it after revision.

International Journal of Innovation in Engineering publishes fully open-access journals, which means that all articles are available on the Internet to all users immediately upon publication.
